NEW ORLEANS, La. - Mount Union senior cross country runner Dan McGeary has been named the NCAA Great Lakes Region Athlete of the Year by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

MASON, Ohio - Dan McGeary (Worthington/Thomas Worthington) and Alex Wilson (Macedonia/Nordonia) finished in first and second place on Saturday in the Great Lakes Regional to lead Mount Union to a second place finish and a birth in the NCAA Championships.
